For the first time in 100 years, the number of tigers in the world is finally on the rise. This is thanks to conservation efforts made in India, Russia, Nepal, and Bhutan. The Global Tiger Recovery Plan is an initiative led by these countries with the goal of doubling the number of wild tigers by 2022. Although we’re headed in the right direction, we still have a long way to go. Let’s help create a future where tigers continue to exist.
